Hand-crafted in Hawai'i, this beautiful Ipu Heke(double-gourd drum) provides the rhythmic accompaniment to the oli (chant).It is the ho'opa'a, or chanter that traditionally beat the ipu heke in order to keep the rhythm for the hula dancer.
